w00tstock — The Song

w00tstock — The Song

August 12, 2011

Well, looky here!  Or even better, listeny here!  ‘Cause it’s a new song!

Proudly features vocals by my best buddy Chris Hardwick & new old pals Paul and Storm.

It’s a tribute parody about the geek-themed variety show “w00tstock“, which is itself a geek-themed tribute to the Woodstock festival, created by Paul and Storm, Adam Savage, and Wil Wheaton.  (I’m very lucky to have been invited to perform in several of them. They really are little love-fests, like Woodstock, minus the mud and with more “On” buttons.)

It’s a parody of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young’s incredible cover of “Woodstock” (orig. by Joni Mitchell), which you younger fans might not be familiar with, but which you should definitely get.
